Jade's Bio

Jade is the (pen name) for a talented filmmaker/author that has written an engaging memoir, think "Eat, Pray, Love”. Jade’s looking for her soul mate in the wilds of Silicon Valley and finds something better, herself.

She encounters an ever-growing cast of colorful characters as she joins the online dating world, dinner dating clubs and even tries speed dating which lands her in jail.

Although she writes in fiction, it feels real!

Jade spent 12 years in the feature film industry with an emphasis on compositing and producing visual effects. She has composited effects shots on 17 of the greatest; lava, explosion, monster, Armageddon, films of our time. Jade’s film career achievements led her to being employed at the most prestigious visual effects company in the world. During these years Jade woke up in the calm darkness of the morning to write a story burning to come out of her, then she would head off to create visually thrilling movie scenes such as Frankenstein hanging from a cliff. While her shots sometimes required 50 layers of pictures to be integrated in order to create the excitement felt by the audience, her writing is a simple layer of truth in life’s greatest adventure, looking for Love. Naughty Boyfriends is filled with secrets most women never share: the heart ache of not getting called back after having sex, pick-up lines you want to believe in, wondering what it means when your phone rings in the middle of the night and how to survive a claustrophobic night in jail after speed dating! Naughty Boyfriends is a story about the hope we all have with regards to love, it’s so elegantly honest that you can’t help but believe it’s all true! It’s like a nightmare or dream that you wake up from with your heart racing thinking to yourself was that just a dream? As an author, Jade is always looking for an exciting challenge, life's next lesson and fearless love! She went to first grade in Africa and High School in Alaska while crossing the globe 12 times in-between. She has lived in exotic places like Azores and Okinawa. She rode an elephant to the Taj Mahal. Wild monkeys have run off with her lunch, and she has sailed the Icy Strait in Alaska. One of her highs in life was water and snow skiing in the same day between Alaskan glaciers. Jade has gazed over the Sahara desert while sitting on the peak of a 5,000-year-old Pyramid. Monks have taught her the Dharma, she has touched Christ's tomb, and a giant Bengal Tiger napped in her lap! Jade’s adventurous spirit shines through in her book, Naughty Boyfriends.
